KINGS COLLEGE HOSPITAL

With one of the busiest A&E departments in Britain, the safety of Kings College Hospital’s 13,000 staff who are treating a staggering 1.5 million patients a year, is of paramount importance and New Tech Security play a huge part in this.

We have a long-standing relationship with Kings, and we have a responsibility to not only provide them with a robust and flexible solution, but also play a key role in protecting the millions of patients, visitors and staff who pass through its doors. King’s security needs have changed significantly throughout the last 10 years, but we are fortunate enough to be able to provide them with state of the art equipment, leaving no room for complacency.

New Tech Security has installed in excess of 900 CCTV cameras along with over 1,250 access controlled doors – activated 450,000 times a day.

Prior to New Tech Security’s involvement, the hospital had a variety of different systems in place, which were not up to the task due to the volume of access required. We were able to provide a single system solution, offering a range of access controls suitable for multi sites and for sites the size of King’s College Hospital.
